A morning Sunrail service passes by the dense sub tropical foliage departing Lake Mary station. The area has seen a lot of growth some of it due to the Sunrail system.

The first train I catch in the first rays of sunlight, P307 heads towards town. CFRC's symbols stick with the train southbound and north so the rule of evens north odds south does not apply.

Sunrail pushes toward Orlando. The system now over a year old is meeting ridership goals, expansion toward Kissimme and to Orlando Airport are likely next.

Central Florida Commuter Rail now has been running for over a year. People are riding and cheerful station ambassadors greet you at the stations.

Sunrail was running late, due to the crush of 10,891 people who rode today. Due to the trains being late it created a meet right in front of me.

Two Sunrail trains meet on Opening Day at Lake Mary, with one train running a bit late causing the incredible luck of catching a meet here at the station. Trains were packed!

"This train is full!" came the word over the radio. "We can't take any more passengers!" Appropriate that this is my 2,000th photo in the database on this historic day.
